The Brushmark Restaurant

While it’s cold and dreary outside today, this weekend officially marked the beginning of spring — and we’re supposed to hit 70 degrees, the perfect temperature for dining al fresco, later this week.

Here’s Andrew Adams, our Chef de Cuisine, with more info on what to expect from the Brushmark this season:

The Brushmark Terrace is warming up for outside dining overlooking the beautiful and historic Overton Park. In the next few weeks the weather will be perfect for dining on the Terrace on Thursday evenings. The atmosphere is wonderful for an outdoor date, friends night out, or a special occasion. The Thursday night menu includes reasonably priced appetizers and entrees that change weekly.

In addition to Sunday brunch, we added Saturday brunch last fall. Our brunch menu includes Fresh Farm Eggs, Pastries, items from the griddle such as French Toast and Waffles, Sandwiches and Entrées. We have classics like Eggs Benedict, Pain au Chocolate, and Southern Grits. We also serve new Memphis favorites such as BBQ and Eggs, Ricotta Pancakes, and Shrimp with Black Spaghetti.

Our lunch menus reflect the museum’s Canaletto exhibit with Venice and other Italian cuisine including Farro Maltagliati, Gnocchi, Suppli and Mozzarella-Eggplant on Ciabatta sandwiches. Our risotto is named after the artist because the ingredients (Mussels, Cipollini Onions, Pancetta and Asiago Cheese) are from the Venice region.

The Brushmark has also been Memphis Green Fork Project certified serving environmentally safe local foods while eliminating unsafe cleaning solutions and recycling most of our waste.

We hope you will come and join us for our Easter Brunch Buffet on April 4th and again for our Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet on May 9th.
