Opening Weekend: The Soul of a City: Memphis Collects African American Art 

Be sure to check out the Brooks this weekend for the opening of The Soul of a City: Memphis Collects African American Art! There will be a live concert on the front plaza of the museum from 11 am – 1 pm that is completely free! Rev. John Wilkins will be playing as part of the Opening Celebration of the exhibition. Enjoy live music from the Memphis-born, North Mississippi Hill Country gospel guitarist and pastor of Hunter’s Chapel Church. Then, head inside for air conditioning and art and get the first peek at the new show!
